First and foremost, we offer our heartfelt gratitude to God for His boundless love, grace, and mercy, which have enriched our lives and guided our family throughout our 19-year journey as members of His Church at KCPC. It is with deep honor and humility that we embark on a new chapter, having been sent forth by KCPC as missionaries to the Philippines. In this sacred endeavor, we are committed to sowing the seeds of the gospel of Jesus Christ, sharing His message of hope and salvation with all whom we encounter.
Our commissioning on Sunday, April 14, 2024, was a profoundly moving experience. Beginning with warm greetings to the KM congregation during both the first and second services, culminating in a powerful commissioning ceremony during the third service, we were enveloped in the prayers of our pastors and elders. The overwhelming outpouring of love and support left both my wife and me in tears of gratitude, humility, and joy.
The unity displayed by the Korean and English congregations was awe-inspiring as they joined together as one body of Christ to orchestrate a heartfelt send-off ceremony in the multipurpose room. The turnout from every church ministry surpassed our wildest expectations, creating a day that will forever be etched in our memories.
We extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who took the time to celebrate with us, and we offer special thanks to Pastors David Moon and James Cho for their inspiring words. Additionally, we are immensely grateful to the Compassion Ministry team for their diligent preparation and provision of food, to the EM congregation for their assistance in setting up and decorating the tables, and to the Praise Team for leading us in joyful songs of worship.
As we embark on this new chapter of our journey, we carry with us the love and support of our church family, knowing that we are united in our mission to spread the light of Christ to the ends of the earth. Thank you all for your unwavering encouragement and prayers. May God bless you abundantly.
