On Sunday, after church service, we headed back up to Angeles City to help with the Childrens feeding program with David McCready (BananaMan) on Monday morning.

Afterwards, we joined a group of people to visit an orphanage (Philippine Baptist Orphanage) in a nearby area. The orphanage is run by Pastor Jeremy Ferguson, who has been living in the Philippines for the past 23 years. The orphanage was built just 7 years ago, and steadily over the years, the orphanage has grown from 20 to currently 130 children. When we arrived, the children were gathered by age groups and were attending VBS. In addition to the 130 children, over 500 children from the neighborhood also attended. It was such a blessing and joyous sight to behold, seeing over 650 of the next generation so attentive and hungry to learn about Jesus.

The orphanage is currently expanding and in the process of building 10 additional dormitories on a nearby lot. The dorms are segregated by boys and girls dorms, but once the new dorms are completed (tentatively scheduled by the end of 2024) the girls will move into the new dorms and the current dorms will all be filled by the boys.

Afterward, we were invited to have lunch with the rest of the group and fellowship over good Thai food.

The group consisted of those from the UK, Australia, nearby island of Cebu, Texas, and local Filipinas.
We were getting ready to head back down to Manila but extended our stay one more day to meet with two Filipino brothers (attorney Glenn & businessman Jesus) who offered to support our efforts going forward. We look forward to seeing how God will use us and our new brothers in Christ for His children and the next generation of believers.
The weather has cooled down by a few degrees this week compared to last week, but it is still a bit hot in the low 90s. We will meet with Glenn in the morning to visit a nearby parcel of land before catching the bus back down to Manila.
Thank you for your continued support and please continue to pray for Darren Egan (Daddy Monkey) as he is currently sick (digestive issues) and for us to remain healthy (physically & spiritually) so that we may be used as His vessel in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
